The 2008 immerging artists' sole exhibitions in the MOCA Studio firstly introduced the piece of "Silence Attacks" by Lin Guan-Ming, a new star in the Asian arts community for these two years. Seven pieces by Lin including the latest two are exhibited in the studio from February 23rd to the middle of April.

The video arts by Lin surprisingly entail poetic imagery through technology making his arts pieces popular among the emerging artists in Taiwan. Through his poetic techniques, the natural scenes suddenly become a medium telling a vogue feeling and poetic emotion.

Lin filmed most pieces along ocean where he captured the vague images of people swimming. Through which he tries to provide a well-round perspective for audience. Applying few special effects, he also successfully pinpointed the gap between reality and imagination. His pieces, however, are beyond the description of language. Every scene in his video arts could trigger audience's sentiment.

The MOCA Studio was established in 2006 and introduced outstanding young local and foreign artists through sole exhibition. A great variety of topics and masterpieces have made the Studio one of the most dynamic experiment areas. This year, the MOCA Studio provided two exhibition areas allowing artists to create their work and to exchange with their counterparts.
