The Dissection of City – International Animation Exhibition
Curated by Sharon Wu

"The Dissection of CITY" is a new curative work from internationally renowned animation scholar and filmmaker, Sharon Wu. It is an international animation festival within an installation, which includes films from all over the world. The designated space in the DigiArk for this exhibition, long and progressive, is regarded as a dissection of a city. It is intended to bring the audience into the anatomy of a city, to see the "layers" inside a city, sequentially the cityscape, the streets, the buildings, and the living being behind the walls, which are illustrated through the animated films screened in each layer. The exhibition itself is also a conceptual city.
